Replica Lightforge Looks

I spotted this mog awhile ago and just fell in love!  I took a screenie for Fly Draenei Friday, but it's so great, it needed it's own post :D  The colors are so striking, and I thought pairing the Lightforge pieces with those legs and boots was awesome!  After doing some mogs with the Replica Soulforge set, I was excited to try a few with this set.

Bakaknight is wearing Drake Talon Pauldrons with Replica Lightforge Breastplate, Gauntlets and Belt, Legplates of Blazing Light and Magma Tempered Boots.  I believe the mace on her right hip is either Bloodskull Destroyer or Swiftsteel Bludgeon.  Looks great Baka, thanks for the inspiration!

NPC Transmog - Maiev Shadowsong

I had so much fun with my mog of Sylvanas, I thought I'd try my hand at some other NPCs!  This time I took at shot at Maiev Shadowsong.  It's another mail mog, but I seem to know my mail pieces the best ;)  I find a lot of the cloth wearing NPCs are in sets or what not.  How to mog Jaina is all over the place, but I may post it anyways, lol.  If anyone has any specific character they'd like me to try and make a mog for, let me know in the comments!

Most of the pieces I used are from the Beaststalker set, as it seems to have been modeled after Maiev.  I wanted something more silver for the chest and legs than the set pieces, so this is what I came up with!  I even included a picture of a night elf at the bottom, since I know it's kind of weird to be sticking Draenei in all these costumes :D

Here's a side view of the fist weapon I picked out.  It's not quite the same as the wardens' circular weapon, but I felt it went nicely with the outfit.  You could also use The Perforator if you were looking for something smaller, and it comes in a few different colors.

Fly Draenei Friday - Serenity Saz

Hooray for Friday!  A few days off and Fly Draenei time!  I hope everyone gets a well-deserved 3 day weekend, I know I'll be sleeping in on Monday :D  This week's reader mog comes from the lovely Saz at World of Saz.  Saz has all sorts of nifty guides over at her blog, and a lot of great Shaman info, so be sure to check her out!

This is Saz's priest Kallipso, looking absolutely elegant.  Saz says "For Kallipso I was shooting for something that was a little bit sexy, a little bit priesty sweet, with just a hint of sinister, since she has a tendency to swing between discipline and shadow."  Nicely done, it looks great in and out of shadow form! I love the priest shoulders and helm from Naxx, I've got to get my priest leveled up and in some of this awesome gear.

I spotted Cepheia running around SW the other night and she would just not stand still long enough to take a shot.  I nervously decided to ask her if I could take a pic, and she was so nice!  She was really happy to have her mog noticed, and said I brightened her night!  I think she's done a great job matching the Windchaser Amice and Robes with the Key to the Planes. She's accessorized with Gloves of Piety and Serenity Belt.		Miylyka has really jazzed up her white mail set with some colorful pieces.  I farmed endlessly for those legs on my hunter, but now I'm thinking I should hand them down to my Shaman! Bonelink Epaulets, Harness of the Deep Currents, Modest Armguards, Sentry's Gloves, Girdle of the Gale Storm, Elemental Rockridge Leggings, Imbued Infantry Boots, and the super pink Aegis of the Vindicator peeking out from the back.

Isterra is looking super fly in a red and maroon combo.  The way she tied the set together with the colors in the chestpiece was a fantastic idea! Tyrant's Epaulets, Thorium Armor, Bloodforged Gauntlets, and Darkcrest Belt, Legguards and Boots.		Aryni is really rocking these thigh-high boots! I've had a similar mog on my wish-list forever, so it's awesome to see someone in it ;) Amethyst Beholder Eye, Brutal Gladiator's Silk Amice, Barbaric Cloth Vest, Silver-Thread Gloves, Guardian's Silk Belt, Barbaric Loincloth, and Suspicious Slippers.

Love is In the Air

I posted this mog the other day on Twitter as just a 'hey, this is what my mage is wearing now' thing.  Then today, I was thinking about something to post here as a Valentine's Day outfit, and I thought this is actually the perfect mog!  The dress reminds me of exactly how I dress in RL for V-day - show a little cleavage and actually put on a necklace :D  I'm not much of a jewelry wearer, but I like to look a little fancy for our V-day nights out.  My Mr. and I met a few weeks before Valentine's 6 years ago, and our first date was the weekend after.  We also got engaged on V-day 5 years ago, so it's kind of an anniversary for us.

Anyhow, back to the mog ;)  I love the way these shoulders are just barely blue, which is the same color shown throughout the dress.  They also glow red, so I think they're perfect!  Unfortunately, they are horde-only Tier 9 shoulders, so it doesn't quite work for a fly Draenei *sad face*.  Well, I can't let my belf have all the boobilicious fun, so I came up with a couple alternatives that look just as nice!

I left the headpiece out of the Draenei mage mog, because it looks a little silly just plopped on top of a plain hairstyle.  I think it looks best with the croissantwich ponytail hairdo that my elf has.  Here it is on my paladin, for illustration purposes.  You can also see here that she has on the Wound Dressing underneath the dress for a little modesty panel.

Here's another version, playing up more of the red. Dreams Do Come True!

Arcane Wand of Sylvanaar and Regal Star

One of my favorite item models in the game has always been the star wands.  Every caster alt I made, I would hit up the auction house around level 16 to get a Skycaller.  When I found out there was an off-hand model, I started collecting those too!  I was so excited when transmog was announced that I'd finally get to use my star wands.  Well, mogging my wand wasn't really all that exciting since you never really saw it, but with the changes to wands being main-hand items, my dual-weilding star wand dreams have at last come true!  I'd been stuck with a staff on my mages forever, but I got a wand the other day, and spent a couple of days doing archeology for the umbrella offhand.  Hooray for star wands!! :D

NPC Transmog - Sylvanas Windrunner

First, I want to thank everyone for the get-well wishes!  I'm finally feeling a little normal, and less like an undead.  Since I was feeling only sorta-alive the past week, I thought it would be a great time to post my transmog-take on the Dark Lady!  I've had my little belf hunter in a version of this mog forever, and I was originally going to post it around Hallow's End, but it's here now, lol!

I don't usually RP, or have stories for my characters, but when I made my elf hunter after Cataclysm, I knew I wanted to level her in the new Foresaken zones.  She grew up hearing the stories of Sylvanas Windrunner, and wanted to be just like her.  When transmog came out, it was only natural she would want to dress like her too :D

The hood and shoulders aren't exactly the right color, but I think they go well with each other.  I chose the shoulders for the skulls on the sides, as Sylvanas' are mostly made of skulls.

Wow, I can't believe I haven't posted anything since last FDF!  I've been sicky sick sick :/  This submission for FDF sure cheered me up though! :D  It's from the adorable Lorelei at Zazzy Mogs.  Lorelei's mog blog has it's own unique goblin spin.  Not only does she have awesome mogs, but she puts them in a comic strip, which is so cool!  Make sure and check her out after having a look at her super fly Draenei :D

Disoli has a great fire shaman look going on here. Tier 9 pants and belt, coordinate nicely with the tier 10 chest, Time Twister's Gauntlets, Ravager's Mantle and Crown of Destruction.		Ursalïna's Frostsythe of Lord Ahune looks even cooler with her mage ice barrier.  Her all-black look is super cool too! Black Velvet Robes, Silver-Thread Amice and Waist, and Malevolent Gladiator's Silk Handguards.

Negere's set is a nice twist on the gold paladin look. Judgement Legplates and Belt, Conqueror's Breastplate, Scarlet Filigreed Shirt, Bloodfist Epaulets and Lightbringer Greathelm.		Niozz has some super fly tan leather pieces in her monk transmog! The stylish Ranger Hat accompanies Trollwoven Spaulders, Nocturnal Tunic and the Earthborn Kilt.
